Luke Carman’s Penguin Plays Rough Stories Recorded

Penguin Plays Rough is a sometimes-monthly gathering of writers reading stories in unusual spaces. We've hosted events in spaces ranging from Clovelly Beach, a bedroom, a warehouse, the NSW State Library, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Our aim is to promote imaginatively wild writers, at all stages of development, and try to programme more seasoned writers alongside those who write with energy and originality, but may be a little green in the publishing department.
