Thank you to all who came down to the Sydney Dance Cafe on Saturday night to help celebrate the launch of our very first book.
Not only did our programmed writers read with delicious panache,
but the wildcards knocked everyone off their perches.
The room was lined 23 posters, one for each story in the book, hand made by the book’s designers Stuart Hall and Elise Santangelo.
After the readings Belles Will Ring played a set that looked like this:
We danced, we drank, we woke up sore all over, and in no fit state to actually read the thing, but BY GEORGE are we unremittingly grateful for the support that has been shown for this at turns exhausting, defeating and mania-inducing project.
Sorry for the gush. But it had to be said.
