The Penguin Plays Rough Book of Short Stories Now on Shelves and Inside Phones
Right now, the book that has pushed so many to three different kinds of edges (the financial edge, the page’s edge, and the edge of the harbour at the Sydney Dance Cafe) is now also on the edge of a counter or shelf at the following stores:
Sydney:
Ariel Books on Oxford St, Paddington
Berkelouw on Oxford St, Paddington
Better Read Than Dead on King St, Newtown
Cream on King St, Newtown
Gleebooks on Glebe Point Rd, Glebe
Macleay Bookshop, on Macleay St, Potts Point
Modern Times on King St, Newtown
Title Music and Film on Crown St, Surry Hills and Whilloughby Rd, Crows Nest
Melbourne:
The Brunswick St Bookstore on (yep) Brunswick St, Fitzroy
Metropolis Bookshop on Swanston St, Melbourne
Polyester Records on Flinders Lane, Melbourne
Readings on Lygon St, Carlton.
Title Music and Film on Gertrude St, Fitzroy; Sydney Rd, Brunswick, and High St, Northcote.
And if you live nowhere near these places, you can buy your copy at our online store, HERE, and we will post it to you. But please note, our online store is now DEVOID OF BOOKS WITH DUSTJACKETS. If you’d like to get your mitts on a copy with the dustjacket, you’ll have to buy it at one of the bookstores listed above.
Our other exciting news is that our app is now available for download. If you search for PPR in the app store, you can not only carry the book around inside your iPhone or iPad, but you can hear the writer (or, in two cases, someone else) read the stories to you.
With the book, the app is free. Without it, it costs a mere $5. A bargain so low it’s a highway to receivership.
NB: THIS BOOK IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL PEOPLE UNDER 18 OR FOR THOSE EASILY OFFENDED.

Hi Ben,
Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply. I can ship overseas – just give me a few days to find out how much postage would be, and I’ll adjust our online store accordingly.
